Hani café and restaurant is situated on the old Paphos to Limassol road – the B6. Driving from Paphos, Hani is the first restaurant you come to when entering Pissouri. We are located on the left hand side with a large customer carpark to be found opposite.
Hani first opened our doors back in the 1950’s serving both locals and travellers alike. For people travelling between Paphos and Limassol whether residents or holidaymakers Hani’s was a very popular place to stop and break their journey, to catch up with friends and or family or to just relax with a drink or something to eat.
Over 65 years later we are still continuing the custom of providing tasty homemade food in a friendly warm relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
We are a daytime restaurant and we are open from 6am in the morning until 6pm in the evening. We serve hearty breakfasts both traditional English & Cypriot, tasty snacks and traditional Cypriot cuisine such as roast lamb, stifado and moussaka. We have vegetarian foods including traditional pulses such as white beans with carrots and celery, broad beans with chard and also Black Eyed beans with chard. Our menu also includes grilled dishes, a selection of salads, fish and we have a varied children’s menu. Take-away is available. We also offer a wide selection of beverages including teas, coffees, soft drinks, beers and wine.
You can also pick up your traditional Cypriot products such as local Carob syrup and honey, Glyka tou koutaliou (this means spoon sweets which are traditional homemade sweet fruits, and sometimes vegetable preserves, served in a spoon as a gesture of hospitality both in Greece and Cyprus). We also stock locally made village breads and seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables.
